Jahnavi joined the Applied Analytics masters program at Columbia University in Fall 2021 after earning her Bachelor's of Science degree in Applied Mathematics/Statistics from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (CPP). She recognized her enthusiasm for working with statistical data and contributing to the decision-making for benefits of the business operations and community impact. During her undergraduate career, she proudly served as the Treasurer for her CPP chapter in a globally known non-profit organization called Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics or SIAM. She is honored to serve as the Treasurer for "Data for Social Good," and work as a team member to help bring solutions that will positively impact the community.

Ovais is a results-oriented business and technology professional with over a decade of experience in Agile and Waterfall environments. He holds a Masters of Science in Information Systems with Honors from Minot State University. Currently, Ovais is enrolled as a graduate student at Columbia University.
His diverse background in Energy, Retail, Healthcare, Government and Non-Profit sectors helps him inform, persuade and advise organizations on how to tackle unforeseen social challenges, embrace disruptive technologies and embark on their digital transformation journey by leveraging design thinking, social innovation, agile and lean practices.
A strong believer in the power of data as a fuel for social innovations, Ovais is always researching, applying and learning new ways that advanced technologies, people and processes can come together to transform our world for the better!
Woon is dedicated to improving society by solving real life problems with technology. After obtaining his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, he constantly participated in activities that allowed him to put his knowledge into practice. He has been involved in a variety of sustainable development projects such as integrating clean energy resources, regulating energy demands, and improving energy efficiency.
These experiences motivated him to pursue the M.S. degree in Applied Analytics as Woon developed a strong desire to harness the power of data to benefit humanity.
Woon actively participates in philanthropic activities and contributes to the communities. He incorporates his joy of fitness by often taking part in charitable running and boxing events.
Woon is always seeking ways to intersect business with technology to create positive social impacts.
VP of Business Development
Yebin is currently pursuing an M.S. degree in Applied Analytics after finishing her bachelor's degree in Business along with her academic background in Political Science and International Relations and International Trade. She started her career as a data analyst at Nielsen, analyzing video viewership data in the media and marketing fields. Shortly after being nominated as the best employee of the department, she left the company to start her own business. In May 2018, she co-founded a mobile platform start-up in the education sector in South Korea and Vietnam. As a business development professional with a demonstrated history of working in the data analytics and start-up fields, she shows a great deal of interest in entrepreneurship and data-driven approaches for business.
As a Vice President of Business Development at DSG, she is being dedicated to building a firm network between professionals and graduate students and contributing to enhancing the community's industry knowledge in IT start-ups and social entrepreneurship.
